“First flight in years I slept more than an hour. My head just stayed put.” Linda M. ✓ Verified
The FlyHugz® Upright Sleep Mask

“Sleep the whole flight 🌍”
Loved by FlyHugz® Travelers
Why Travelers Are Switching to the Upright Sleep Mask
From long haul flights to red eyes, travelers finally sleep upright without the head drop.
Discover a better answer to head drop and travel exhaustion.
You finally drift off and your head drops forward like a bowling ball. You jolt awake. Again. And again, for the whole flight. Neck pillows were supposed to fix that, but they only wrap your neck, and your neck was never what was falling.
The FlyHugz® Upright Sleep Mask works the other way round. A padded band straps around the seat's head cushion and holds your head gently back against the seat, exactly where gravity wants it. The blackout mask is built in, so the cabin goes dark too.
Sleep sitting up, without the head drop, the stiff neck or the light.
Strap it to the head cushion, press the mask on, lean back. That is the whole setup. Your head rests against a soft padded pad, the band cradles both sides of your head, and nothing presses on your throat.
Travelers tell us it is the first time they have slept for hours on a plane, and the first time they walked off without a sore neck.
Holds your head back against the seat.
Ends the drop and jolt cycle.
100% blackout, no light leaks.
Nothing around your neck or throat.
Folds flat into a tiny case.

What Travelers Say About the Upright Sleep Mask
First flight I actually slept
“I have never been able to sleep sitting up. Phoenix to London, I strapped this to the headrest before takeoff and woke up over Ireland. My head did not drop once and my neck felt fine when we landed.”
My wife stopped nudging me
“Every flight I used to nod forward, jerk awake and end up leaning on my wife. With this my head just stays back against the seat. Took me thirty seconds to set up.”
Packs flat, clips to my bag
“I hated dragging a big neck pillow through the airport. This folds into a little pouch that clips onto my bag, and the mask is so dark I slept right through the breakfast service.”
Better than every neck pillow I own
“I own four neck pillows and none of them stopped my head from falling. This holds the back of my head against the seat with nothing around my throat. Wish I had found it years ago.”
Landed ready to go
“Overnight to Rome and I walked off the plane rested for the first time ever. We went straight to lunch instead of napping the whole afternoon away.”
Bought one for him, then one for me
“I got one for my husband for our cruise flight and he slept the whole way. On the way home I was jealous, so I ordered my own. We both use it on every trip now.”
Our Story
Built by travelers tired of arriving exhausted.
FlyHugz® started with one stubborn problem. John flew constantly, red eyes, layovers, back to back trips, and every time he drifted off his head dropped forward and he jolted awake.
The FlyHugz® pillow fixed the wrap. The Upright Sleep Mask goes one step further: it anchors your head to the seat itself and turns the cabin dark, so you can finally sleep sitting up. Chelsey shaped its look, feel and finish, and together they have helped over 1,000,000 travelers arrive refreshed.

Frequently Asked Questions about the FlyHugz® Upright Sleep Mask
A neck pillow wraps your neck, but it is your head that falls forward when you fall asleep. This holds your head back against the seat, so it cannot drop.
Yes. The adjustable strap and buckle wrap around the padded head cushion on almost every economy, premium economy and business class seat, and around most car headrests.
It does not change the seat, it simply straps around the head cushion with a buckle. Like a neck pillow, you may be asked to remove it for take off and landing.
Leave a little slack in the strap so your head rests at a natural angle. Nothing presses on your neck or throat.
No. The contoured eye cups leave room for your eyes, so you can blink and still see nothing.
Yes. The mask velcros off the band, so you can use it on its own whenever you like.
It folds flat into its own soft zip pouch, about 18 by 14 cm, with a carabiner clip for your bag.
